We’re excited to introduce a powerful new bearer settings feature in Avontus Designer^®, giving you greater customization and control in your designs.

This update allows you to fully customize the materials used for bearers, ensuring your designs align with your specific scaffolding system and project requirements.

• Set automatic material thresholds: When applied, the software will automatically switch to your chosen reinforced ledger (e.g., double ledger or truss) if a bearer exceeds a specified length, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Customize bearer materials: Choose exactly which parts are used so your designs match your scaffolding system’s needs. This is especially beneficial for users with specialized bearers, such as those used in certain kwikstage and ring systems.

The new bearer feature allows you to:

• Select materials based on whether the ledger is bearing plank weight.
• Define materials based on the bearer itself, rather than its position or level.
• Optimize weight and costs – Adjust settings to avoid unnecessary heavier materials, helping to manage scaffold weight and reduce rental costs.

This release also includes minor enhancements and bug fixes to improve overall performance. Update your Avontus Designer today and take full control of your scaffold designs.
